I asked myself, “Am I a model exclusively for Asiana Airlines?” Even now, I cannot believe it when I appear in commercials and print ads. I was extremely surprised when I suddenly became the model of Asiana Airlines. I’ve always liked the company’s ads. I’m still excited to think I’m representing Asiana Airlines. All the people around me were surprised that I became an Asiana model and congratulated me a lot. More than anything else, everyone praised me for being able to start out as an Asiana model. After getting the job, I’ve been photographed and interviewed a lot, but each time is different and fresh. Through Asiana, I am learning many things.

I think an Asiana model is the ideal type for all men and a symbol of grace and beauty envied by women. For a while now, I’ve yearned to be an Asiana model. All women dream of becoming such a model, don't they? The model representing Asiana is a PR ambassador who lets the world know about the beautiful emotions of Korea, surpassing the role of a model herself. She also is a companion with a beautiful mind and expressions that help passengers along their journeys. In this sense, I applied to model for Asiana because I thought my first beginning with Asiana would be meaningful. I expect my future as an Asiana model will be fruitful and beautiful like Asiana itself.
I was awfully nervous because I didn't have any experience. I was not familiar with the location and worried a lot because everything was new. I was also terribly burdened because all the previous models representing Asiana worked out very well. However, all the people on the scene gave me much courage and helped me to have my photos taken comfortably. As a result, everything went very smoothly. I thought I should do my best because they encouraged and helped me a lot. While a male model had his pictures taken, I nodded off, maybe due to fatigue. After waking up, I was a little embarrassed. Looking back on it now, I find it funny.

I seem different according to different situations. I usually stay calm but become more active with good people. My looks during shoots tend to show one of my internal images, I think. Also I like to mix with people. Relations with people are one of the most important parts of life. I think the times that I share with good people are my most pleasant moments.

I think travel makes me look back on myself at least once. Comfortable travel is good, but suffering hardships and meeting many people on a journey makes the experience more meaningful. I think suffering hardships makes people look back on their own happy circumstances and feel gratitude. To me, travel contains significant meaning because it makes me reflect on me and look at where I am.
After finishing my first semester, I’m setting out a semester or two. I learned many things from my seniors during the first semester because I was in the film department at Seoul Institute of the Arts. Originally, I planned to study and work at the same time. But I don’t want to lose this opportunity, so I took time off from university and started working like this full time.
As a kid, I kind of dreamt about becoming an entertainer because their splendid looks appealed to me. After I started studying films and my thinking grew, I came to have a dream of becoming not an entertainer but a genuine actor. I want to be recognized by people for my performance and to be engraved in their memories.
