Membership in Asiana Club is governed by the following rules, which are intended
to protect the interests of both our members and Asiana Airlines. We encourage
you to read and understand these rules. Final interpretation of all program rules
remains the responsibility of Asiana Airlines. For more information or rules
clarification, contact the Asiana Club Service Center.
- To become a member of Asiana Club, applicants must submit a completed
application form to Asiana Airlines. Members will receive their permanent
credentials within 2 weeks of their first mileage activity in the program.
- Asiana Club is open to persons 12 years of age or older, and is open
to residents of all countries where such programs are not prohibited by law.
- Asiana Club membership is issued to individual persons only, with the
exception of corporations enrolled in the Asiana Corporate Club program.
- Asiana Club mileage is not transferable with the exception of members
enrolled in the Family Mileage Plan.
- Retroactive credit for flights taken prior to enrollment will
not be permitted.
- Asiana Club rules, regulations, benefits, awards, mileage levels,
conditions of membership and all other program elements are subject to
change, in whole or in part, at any time, with 3 months advance notice to
membership in the event that Asiana Club is required to come into
compliance with its international partner program rules, an adjustment to
mileage is required as a result of a material change in the airline's
ticket pricing structure, a radical change in industry demand occurs or
if there is a serious change in either the global airline or national
economic environments. In the event of changes to the mileage redemption
chart, members shall have the option to apply either the old chart or new
chart for a 24 month grace period from the effective date of any change.
- Asiana Club Program Partners, are subject to change or termination
with or without prior notice. Asiana assumes no liability for such
changes.
- Asiana Airlines reserves the right to discontinue the Asiana Club
program at any time for any reason with 6 months advance notice to its
members or without notice in the event that Asiana ceases airline
operations.
- Asiana Airlines reserves the sole right to interpret and define the
procedures and policies of the Asiana Club Program. All determinations by
Asiana shall be final and conclusive in each case.
- Asiana Airlines reserves the right to audit any and all Asiana Club
accounts at any time for compliance with the program rules. If it is found
that an Asiana Club Member has failed to abide by program rules and
polices or makes any misrepresentation of information, such action may
result in the cancellation of the member's account, the revocation of all
mileage accrued and the cancellation of previously issued, but unused awards.
Asiana reserves the right to partake in legal actions to disqualify any
person from further activity and participation in the program, including
cancellation of the member's account, voiding of all mileage credit and
cancellation of any previously issued tickets, awards and certificates for any
account which has been used in violation of Asiana Club program rules.
- Asiana Airlines reserves the right to exclude mailing of Asiana Club materials,
including but not limited to newsletters, statements and other promotional offers,
to any member who has not accumulated mileage in the previous quarter. Asiana also
reserves the right to introduce special bonus miles and promotional offers
selectively to members based on flight activity, geographic location or program
participation. Promotional offers may be mailed only to the member address
as stated in the Asiana Club database.
- Asiana Airlines is not responsible for lost or delayed correspondence or any
loss or damage.
- It is the sole responsibility of each Asiana Club member to remain familiar
with the program rules and the impact of any program changes with regards to
their respective account.
- Accrued mileage in the member's account does not constitute the property
of the member and remains the property of Asiana Airlines until redeemed.
Neither the accrued mileage nor any other member benefits are transferable
upon a member's death, dissolution of marriage or through any other operation
of law.
- Asiana Club members agree that some of the personal data stored by Asiana
Club in its database, may be shared with Asiana Club program partners and suppliers
for marketing and communications purposes, where permitted by law.
- Should any event beyond the control of Asiana Airlines, including without
limitation, labor disputes, civil disturbance, government orders, weather conditions,
acts of God, war or availability of aircraft, materially affect Asiana's ability to
provide the benefits defined in this program, such benefits may be suspended or
terminated at Asiana Airlines sole discretion.
- Under no circumstances are Asiana Club miles interchangeable with those of any
other club or loyalty program operated by Asiana Airlines or any of its Asiana Club
program partners.
- Asiana Airlines accepts no liability for the refusal of any Partner or third party
participating in the Asiana Club program, to accept or honor the Asiana Club card
nor for any loss, injury or damage arising from such Partner's provision of benefits.
The member agrees that it is his sole responsibility to resolve any complaints relating
to such benefits directly with the Partner concerned.
- Asiana Airlines takes no responsibility and makes no representation regarding the tax
liability of any member arising from their participation in the program and the
accrual of or use of Asiana Club miles or awards. Any taxes, duties, government levies, or other
charges assessed by any local, state or Federal Government taxing authority are the sole
responsibility of the member.
- A member's declared and registered residency shall determine the member's eligibility for
benefits and governing rules specific to his region of residence.
