Asiana has made it easy to earn miles no matter where you are or what you’re doing. The best way to maximize your miles is to understand all the opportunities that are available to you and then taking full advantage of Asiana and all its partners to make your mileage account grow. Here’s all the ways you can earn Asiana Club miles.

With Asiana Airlines

MILEAGE ACCRUAL ON ASIANA AIRLINES*

RULES FOR EARNING ON ASIANA AIRLINES

1. Retroactive credit for flights taken prior to enrollment is not permitted.
2. Asiana Club Miles shall be the basic unit of currency for all Asiana Airlines earning activity in the program.
3. Asiana Club mileage will be based on the purchased class of service, not the seated class of service. For example, when you use an upgrade Award from Y to C or C to F, you will not receive the class of service bonus for the upgraded class of travel.
4. Reduced rate tickets, barter tickets or any other tickets discounted by 50% or more from published tariff are excluded from mileage eligibility under this program.
5. To ensure your miles are auto credited to your account:

   • Provide your Asiana Club number when making reservations

   • Present your Asiana Club card when checking-in

In the Event of Missing Mileage
Members are responsible for retaining tickets, electronic ticket receipts and boarding passes until the mileage appears on your mileage summary. Should there be any mileage discrepancies, members may file a claim for missing mileage up to one year from the original boarding date. Members will be required to submit an original or copy of their paper ticket or payment receipt for their E-ticket and an original boarding pass for each flight segment in question.

6. Asiana is the final authority on qualification for mileage credit and reserves the right to revoke mileage at any time if credit was given for travel on an illegally purchased ticket, illegal itinerary or a duplicate itinerary.
7. Any mileage that has been accrued through fraud, misrepresentation or in contravention of the terms and conditions of membership will be forfeited and may, at Asiana Airlines’ sole discretion, result in revocation of the member’s membership in the program and subject the member to legal action

With Star Alliance Airlines

RULES FOR EARNING ON STAR ALLIANCE CARRIERS

1. When flying on a Star Alliance carrier, to ensure your miles are auto credited to your Asiana Club account:

   • Provide your Asiana Club number when making reservations

   • Present your Asiana Club card when checking-in

   In the Event of Missing Mileage
   Members are responsible for retaining tickets, electronic ticket receipts and boarding passes until the mileage appears on your mileage summary. Should there be any mileage discrepancies, members may file a claim for missing mileage up to one year (6 months for Singapore Airlines and VARIG) from the original boarding date. Members will be required to submit an original or copy of their paper ticket or payment receipt for their E-ticket and an original boarding pass for each flight segment in question.

2. Asiana Club Miles shall be the basic unit of currency for all Star Alliance Airline earning activity in the program when traveling on a Star Alliance carrier flight.
3. Mileage may not be earned on Star Alliance code share flights that are not operated by a Star Alliance carrier.
4. Mileage in an Asiana Club member’s account will be awarded based on the Star Alliance Carrier mileage accrual tables listed in this Member Guide, subject to change.
5. Restrictions : Route restrictions and residency requirements may apply to earning Asiana Club miles on Star Alliance airlines. Exceptions and exclusions noted on the Star Alliance airline accrual tables in this member guide may affect a member’s mileage accrual when traveling on Star Alliance member routes.
6. Asiana Club miles will not be awarded if a member is also qualified for or taking credit for accruals in another airline’s frequent flyer program for the same itinerary that they are claiming Asiana Club miles. Should an Asiana Club member be a member in another Star Alliance carrier frequent flyer program, they must declare which frequent flyer program they wish to be credited mileage at the time of booking.
7. Asiana Club miles earned for travel on Asiana Airlines or on a Star Alliance airline cannot be transferred to another Star Alliance airline frequent flyer account.
8. Asiana Airlines reserves the right to exchange information with its Star Alliance partner airlines and audit its member’s accounts to determine whether double credits have been received, either through a member’s fraudulent actions or through administrative error. Asiana reserves the right to amend or remove any invalid or incorrect mileage and in the event of member fraud, terminate a member’s participation in the program and forfeiture of all mileage.
9. The following SAS routes are ineligible for mileage:
